>> A DAY WITH A GIRL IN A PINK TUTU

last sunday, my little girl insisted that i dress her in a pink tutu and pink t-shirt.  she was getting ready to drop her favorite uncle (my brother) and his wife to catch a bus back to KL.  on the way, she tried as hard as she can to stay awake in the car so that she can kiss her uncle and auntie goodbye… but she fell asleep 10 minutes before we arrived.  as soon as the car stopped, she woke up from her sleep and excitedly calling her uncle’s name and shook his hand and kiss him goodbye.

since we had a playdate later that afternoon, we decided to just stay in the central area and drove we went to orchard area.  we stopped at wheelock place to have our lunch, where the girl in pink tutu was excitedly happy to finish her ikura sushi for lunch.  she sat on the hanging feeding chair that wasn’t supposed to support her weight anymore, but she insisted that she can still fit in.  so we let her! she chatted the whole time and behaved very well, making happy faces, smiles and cute comments the whole time.

after lunch, we took her to the book store on the ground level and hang around the children’s section where she just off and took a book and starting to flip the pages.  she sat on the floor with her pink tutu and bunny ears, flipping the books with animals picture and making comments on every page she flipped.  she then ran to the rack and picked another one, then she stayed in the center area where it’s made available for kids and parents to read.

after a couple of hours, we then persuaded her to leave the bookstore and promised her that we will visit again next week.  so off she went, after we told her to choose a bookset contains of small books and cubes filled with pictures of animals and fruits.

our next stop was jacob ballas children’s garden for a playdate and a farewell for ninit & adhit‘s family.  on the way there, the little girl in tutu couldn’t stop asking for aina & koda.  though she was already sleepy, she tried to keep her eyes open because i told her that we’re on our way to meet aina.  as her dad made a 2nd mistake of parking in the wrong area, her eyes were already heavy and she started putting her head on my lap.  just as soon as her dad finally found the correct parking spot, she was already snoring on my lap!

so off we went inside the garden with the girl in a pink tutu in my arms.  we looked for a hut inside the park and placed her on the floor covered with a mat so she can continue to sleep and i can look around and took some pictures.

less than an hour, she opened her eyes to the noises around her and quickly she asked for aina.  aina was already playing in the sand box at the time (unfortunately, koda is not allowed inside the garden).  so i took the pink tutu skirt off of the girl and let her play with her tank top and undies.  she had a sand session inside the sand box then both her and aina went to the water park and play with water to brush off the sand that’s covered her hands and feet (even some on her hair!).

done with water splashing, i changed her into dry clothes and off she went to the playground and the tree house.  as the day was getting darker, she took a carton of milk then joined us on the front gate for pizza dinner, courtesy of ninit & adhit.  the garden has been closed, all the gates has been locked, the night has come so we all took our spot in front of the entrance and had photo sessions with everyone.  it was a fun playdate and the girl was having so much fun meeting up with her friends.

we got home, brushed her teeth and changed her clothings to a set of pajamas.  she asked for another bottle of warm milk, then off she went to the lala land.  nighty nite, my little girl in a pink tutu skirt!  thank your for behaving so well and made our sunday even brighter with your smiles :)
